Arcot Station is a family owned and operated working sheep stud. We are located 74kms west of Stanthorpe and 26kms northeast of Texas on Arcot Road. With many hills and creeks it makes for picturesque views while out 4WDing or simply relaxing in the campgrounds. There is ample opportunity to see many different kinds of fauna including several different wallabies, kangaroos, and extensive birdlife.
4WDing
All 4wders are provided with a package including maps and colour coded track info. These tracks have been professionally rated.
Motorbikes
Motorbikes are allowed at Arcot Station.
Camping
The camping faciities at the main campground are basic with hot water supplied by donkey to the showers and toilets of the rural variety (longdrop).
There is a second small campground with no facilites to suit the traveller who is fully self contained.
