Leave the hustle and bustle of the city and spend some quality quiet time in the bush where you can relax, unwind and de-stress yourself in this idealistic retreat. Set on 200 acres on an 8000 acre working sheep property. Campsites set in natural bushland amongst large granite boulders and Moreton Bay Fig trees.

Children will love to feed and pat our chooks, goats, sheep and minature ponies. For the lighthearted fisherman there are yellowbelly and catfish to elude you in our farm dams. For more serious fishing the Dumaresq and MacIntyre Rivers are close by.

Everyday farm activities can be participated in, and tours of the property can be arranged.

Sheep Shearing

See a shearing shed in full operation, all aspects of sheep husbandry such as drenching, crutching, plus wool handling, classing and wool pressing (seasonal). Out of season, shearing demonstrations can be arranged.

There is an abundance of native flora, fauna and birdlife in the surrounding area. See if you can spot our unique family of white kangaroos. Climb Goat Rock and have a panoramic view of Texas and the Dumaresq River valley. Great spot for photography and painting.

The Shed

All meals prepared from a country kitchen and in true country style, you’ll never go hungry. Join us for one of our infamous Sunday Brunches and other special occasions in the unique dining shed. Camp oven/spit roast dinners available for groups. Catering available for all size groups and functions. All catering is by prior arrangement.

Pets are welcome but are owners responsibiity.

Toilets & Shower facilities. Donkey for hot water.

Choose from mowed campsites close to amenities, or venture deeper into the bush if you prefer.
