Texas Regional Art Gallery
The Texas Regional Art Gallery was officially opened on 27 September 2000. The Texas Arts Council Inc. are proud to manage the gallery located in the Texas Cultural Centre, which is owned and maintained by the Goondiwindi Regional Council.

Sweet As
A Queensland Arts Council Touring Exhibition of Photography by Grayson Cook
‘Sweet As’ is a multimedia photographic exhibition that celebrates the sugar industry as a central part of life in regional Queensland. A fascinating contradiction to the sweetness of sugar, the images reveal the robust industrial world within the sugar mills of the Wide Bay/Burnett region.

Through The Looking Glass
By Melanie Jai – Through the Looking Glass is a mother’s heartfelt artistic journey to understand the inner world of her autistic son.
Gladstone artist, Melanie Jai has created a series of whimsical paintings to help reach the fairytale land of villains and heroes that her son so often retreats to. This exhibition inspires understanding, compassion and acceptance for those affected by mental health issues.

Texas Revisited
This is a selling exhibition of three artists work.
Lorraine Emerson has paintings of mixed media. Robert Bradfield is a traditional Landscape artist using a variety of oils, watercolours & ink. Hilda Lange’s work is unusal in its use of oils.

The Dying Darling

The human faces of the water debate. Striking black and white charcoal life-drawings in this exhibition focus on the struggle-worn faces of the everyday people who have been affected by the dying Darling River Basin.
