The Texas Country Music Roundup is over once again for another year with it growing every year. This year 360 vans and motorhomes made the Texas Sporting Complex and School Grounds their home for the weekend.
Country music lovers from as far as Darwin and Tasmania made their way to Texas to enjoy a great weekend of grassroots country music. Planning is already underway for next year so mark it on your calenders – the last weekend in September!
This is a great community event ran by Texas QLD Inc (formerly the Texas Visitors Association) and attracts a large number of visitors. All proceeds go towards the restoration works at the old Texas Rabbit Factory & Freezing Works. This is an ongoing project for Texas QLD Inc with plans to restore the factory to display an important piece of Australia’s history.
